We often receive questions about our services and operational process.  This Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) guide may help with questions you may have.  If your concern was not addressed, please contact us.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AT THE INITIAL CONSULTATION?

Clients receive a confidential consultation to discuss ideas and learn about services available from Organize Louisville that will provide the desired results. During this consult, we will discuss which supplies will be needed, the expected timeline, and the best way to personalize your experience.

Our goal is to ensure you fully understand the services that will be provided. Once services are agreed upon, we will schedule your project(s), draft/sign the contract, and discuss payment before your scheduled services.

HOW DO I GET THE PRODUCTS NEEDED FOR MY SESSION?

There are several options available to clients with it comes to shopping for products/items needed for their sessions.  We can often use items you already own and just supplement with some new products to maximize your storage solutions.  Or we can navigate one of the following options:

Option 1: Organize Louisville provides a list to the client.  The client then shops for all the items needed and is responsible for returning any unused items after the services are completed.

Option 2: [Most Popular] Organize Louisville shops and will purchase any supplies needed for the services, we will provide the client with an invoice for only the items used, and Organize Louisville will be reimbursed for those items.  Organize Louisville is responsible for returning any unused items.

DOES ORGANIZE LOUISVILLE PROVIDE EVERYTHING?

As the client, you are responsible for the expenses associated with your contracted services as well as the expenses associated with new storage solutions, decorations, garments, furnishings, and anything else needed to complete your contracted services.

On the day of your services, Organize Louisville will come equipped with our organizer toolkit with everything we need to get the job done!

DO I NEED TO BE PRESENT WHILE SERVICES ARE BEING PERFORMED?

Several services require the client’s presence. Your presence can be in-person or virtual, whichever works best for your schedule. If your presence is necessary during the contracted services, you will be notified during the initial consultation so that you are prepared in advance for the day of services rendered.

WHAT FORM OF PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTED?

At this time, we accept the following forms of payment: Cash, Check, Venmo, and Apple Pay. Using our online invoicing suite, you can pay with PayPal or Stripe, which accepts most major Credit Cards.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE MY CONTRACTED SERVICES?

We completely understand the need for flexibility.  When possible, we just ask for a minimum of 24-hour notice when you need to reschedule your services.  This enables us to offer the appointment time to another client.

All appointments are confirmed 24-hours prior to the scheduled time to provide you with the opportunity to reschedule if necessary.

HOW LONG WILL EACH EXPERIENCE TAKE?

Due to Organize Louisville’s number of service offerings, no two experiences are the same. Most experiences require a minimum of 4 hours and several of our offerings require significantly more time. You can schedule your services by the hour and decide how long you would like to Organize Louisville to work.

An estimated amount of time will be given during the consultation prior to signing your contract and scheduling your appointment(s).

SHOULD I CLEAN BEFORE MY CONSULTATION?

Please do not clean prior to your consultation! We have a good non-judgemental eye and can see through the clutter to envision the potential of your spaces, wardrobe, and stored items. There is a lot of value in seeing what is working or not working. When we can see everything as is, it helps to hone in on the best solutions and areas that need our attention.

WILL MY PERSONAL LIFE REMAIN CONFIDENTIAL?

We provide a confidentiality agreement to guarantee that every item and conversation during your appointments remain 100% confidential. We only share the information needed to your organizing team. Your privacy is important to us.

WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT HANDLED BY ORGANIZE LOUISVILLE?

There are also some items that Organize Louisville will NOT handle during services: firearms, safes, financial documentation, credit cards, checkbooks, passports, passwords, and your most intimate items. We suggest removing these items prior to your appointment(s) when possible.

CAN MY CHILDREN BE PRESENT DURING SERVICES?

While we adore children at Organize Louisville, it can be challenging to organize with them present. Time is a significant factor in your services, and our goal is to accomplish as much as possible during those precious hours. It is best to have someone caring for your children in a separate room/location while services are performed to be time-efficient.

DO THE ORGANIZERS ACCEPT TIPS?

Our organizers will graciously accept tips if you feel that the service was exceptional and a tip is warranted. It is not standard practice, but certainly appreciated.
